First Approval in Principle for CMIT – Europe

CMIT – Europe has received the Certificate of Approval in Principle for the SEA BREATH project by RINA.

Following the Agreement signed in July 2019 between CMIT – Europe and RINA, we are pleased to announce that CMIT – Europe has received the Certificate of Approval in Principle for the SEA BREATH project by RINA.

SEA BREATH embodies a new concept of cruise: innovative and exclusive.

The Approval in Principle refers indeed to the innovative aspects of the SEA BREATH Passenger Ship Project, relevant to safety, stability and structure.

In compliance with the “RINA Guide for Approval in Principle Process”, RINA has carefully studied the documentation submitted by CMIT – Europe on the basis on the technical criteria of the “RINA Rules for the Classification of Ship” 2020.

After an in-depth study, RINA has issued the Certificate of Approval in Principle allowing CMIT – Europe to proceed further to the detailed design phase.

CMIT – Europe is grateful to RINA for the fruitful collaboration and for this important goal achieved together.
