Mechanical Leader
To deliver and report stress analysis calculation on piping and supports in order to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of mechanical design activities of the items engineered by the Company.
• Prepares piping stress design basis for project.
• Assists piping department for definition of piping specifications.
• Performs preliminary stress analysis of the most critical lines in order to support piping department in the development of process modules 3D models.
• Performs detailed stress analysis of piping systems of topside process modules installed on FPSO/FLNG/LNG carriers.
• Prepares reports of piping stress analysis.
• Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil)
• Minimum 7 years of solid work experience as Discipline Engineer in upstream O&G industry
• Ability to select piping materials in accordance with process conditions, Client Specifications and International Codes requirements
• Ability to perform piping stress analysis by mean computer aided tools, like CAESAR II software
• Ability to carry out excel spreadsheets for local mechanical checks
• Knowledge of International Codes, such as ASME, API
• English proficiency
