• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as mechanical engineer in upstream O&G industry.
• Deep knowledge of upstream process systems and associated static equipment, in particular oil separation and stabilization, produced water treatment, gas compression, gas sweetening, sulfur recovery, LNG processes.
• Ability to select materials in accordance with process conditions, Client Specifications and International Codes requirements.
• Ability to design pressure and non-pressure parts of static equipment by mean computer aided tools, like PVELITE software
• Ability to carry out excel spreadsheets for local mechanical checks of static equipment details
• Ability to carry out lifting scheme and select rigging devices for heavy static equipment
• Knowledge of International Codes, such as ASME, API.
• Ability to organize basic and detailed mechanical engineering design activities.
• Proficiency in English.
• High level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Strong team-working abilities.
• Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with the other discipline engineers.
The position will report to the Mechanical Leader.
For the time being the position has no direct reports below.
Ravenna, Italy. Travel and work in world-wide locations can be occasionally required.
