The Natural Gas and Hydrogen Mixing Skid (NGHMS) has the purpose to mix natural gas with high-pressure hydrogen and feed the produced fuel mix to a gas turbine. ​​

The fuel flow to the gas turbine is controlled by the gas turbine. The NGHMS follows the gas turbine fuel consumption by keeping the fuel pressure constant. ​

The main purposes of the NGHMS are to reduce the hydrogen pressure to a suitable value for fine flow control and to mix hydrogen and natural gas to the desired volume ratio. ​

The system is designed to manage any blending ratio between CH4 and H2 depending upon the specific performances of the gas turbine. H2 range may vary from 0% up to maximum 90%. Consequently, CH4 serves to create the exact balance.​
