The Floating Palace is an idea of passenger catamaran that will operate leisure cruises along the Huangpu River in Shanghai. An innovative concept, both in terms of styling and functionality.

The ship was designed from the start to be an experience in itself: its most striking features, the “Promenade” and the “Cloud”, are to be seen from land and to be enjoyed onboard.

The Promenade is a bright red continuous path, spiralling around the whole ship. It will let passengers enjoy striking views of Shanghai architecture and learn its history, as told by a human scale timeline scattered along its full extension.

Reaching the top deck, the Promenade leads to the Cloud: a truly unique, glass covered public space with a 360° unobstructed view to the city. At night, when the party onboard gets started, the Cloud lights up and becomes an iconic lantern floating on the waters of the Huangpu River.
